Scaling Climate Adaptation Globally
The Adaptation Fund has launched a new programme which fosters innovation of adaptation practices in vulnerable countries. By supporting local climate entrepreneurs, the programme catalyzes solutions that help communities build resilience to the impacts of climate change — from Africa to Asia to the Americas.
Driving Innovation in Vulnerable Communities
Behold through the CleantechHUB supported the Climate Innovation Accelerator by helping identify, onboard and mentor early-stage climate innovators from vulnerable countries. Our network and ecosystem expertise enabled us to connect startups with the right partners, mentors and resources — accelerating their path from idea to implementation. UNDP and UNEP-CTCN administer the grants for this programme.

The Climate Innovation Accelerator demonstrates that breakthrough solutions can emerge from the communities most affected by climate change — when they receive the right support, funding, and connections to scale their impact.
